Reaching and Shaping the Community
Community Action Day (CAD) is our chance to bless our local community, as a church community. The aim of CAD is to run a number of projects throughout the day, with a team of volunteers to assist vulnerable people, and the organisations who assist them, in our communities.
We will play our part by, gardening, repainting rooms in their homes, general cleaning and tidying, as well as clearing rubbish.
Our team of volunteers are ready to clear up gardens and brighten up homes with fresh paint, clearing and weeding unloved parks, our CAD will deliver tangible benefits to communities.
How do we help?
C3 CAD focuses on community areas in need of a good clean up . We will tackle any challenge - with enthusiasm and hard work! Essentially, we offer our community a free opportunity to harness the power of people passionate to advance the common good. It’s amazing what can be achieved by a group of dedicated, highly motivated, driven volunteers!
Who can help?
Anybody and everybody! Last year we involved nearly 100 volunteers in our Community Action Day projects in the city. If you would like to spend a day volunteering with us then please get in touch. Even if you are unable to help physically, if you are able to offer gardening or DIY equipment, paint or a financial contribution - anything is welcome.
If you are a business or organisation who would like to partner with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with information of how you can help. Whether it's providing volunteers or financing a project, we want to hear from you!
We have a project…
If you have a suggestion of a community project which meets our criteria, we would love to hear about it! If we are able to help, we will! Please email email@example.com if you would like to partner with CAD on a community project. Deadline for submitting projects for CAD 2018: 14 April.
When can we help?
Our next CAD is 28 April 2018 from 9.00 - 3.00. Finishing with a free BBQ at the C3 Centre (3 - 5pm) for everyone who has been involved with an open invite for the whole community to join in too! To get involved, sign up below. Please note: there is no deadline for registering to volunteer, but before 14 April is best, as it helps us commit to the most appropriate projects.
